While he was in Gonaïves to speak on his policies, the PM was surrounded by troops hostile to his government. Under the detonations, extracting the PM from the Saint Charles Boromé Church was not easy... Ariel was therefore not able to go to the parade ground to give her speech.

This attack against the head of government caused at least 1 death and 4 gunshot wounds.
