Batlle is out with an injury. The medical staff hopes for his presence next Wednesday during the match in Barcelona. Daphne van Domselaar, back from injury, joins the substitutes' bench.
Cornelia Kapocs feels ready to extend her goalscoring streak at Anfield. The Swede has already scored three goals in four appearances with the English club: twice against Everton and once against Manchester City.
Liverpool Women beat Aston Villa at home earlier this season and are aiming to do so in front of their home crowd.
The three replacements bring potential offensive movement. Emily Fox has good percussion ability on the wing-backs, while Kim Little and Lisa Baum bring international top-level experience.
