While giving his speech at the graduation ceremony at the Atlantic University of Haiti (April 2022), Alcène Dorenge burst into tears in the middle of his speech. This unexpected fact left the audience speechless, and instead of remaining silent, they shouted and applauded the recipient.

Alcène graduated from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the Atlantic University of Haiti, with a degree in accounting sciences. He was part of the 2017-2021 class and graduated on April 10, 2022. His diploma in accounting sciences earned him 4 long years of study in the conditions of insecurity that the country has been experiencing in recent days.
