Russian Urban Mobility Minister Alexei Petrov said the project responds to growing congestion. He added that solutions must be quick.

Engineers from the TechMoscow laboratory have integrated the latest generation LiDAR sensors. These sensors offer millimeter precision, essential for anticipating unexpected obstacles in a dense urban environment.

The Vedomosti newspaper published an investigation revealing criticism. Critics have highlighted the high cost of the project and the difficulty in securing its long-term financing.

On July 5, the next public hearing will be held before the Moscow Court. The San-tos spokesperson said the final decision will be made after reviewing technical reports and arguments from stakeholders.
