Eva Longoria, actress and Texas native, is making her debut in a new cooking show on the Roku Channel. NFL Hometown Eats premiered on August 24, 2026. In each of the three episodes, a famous NFL fan takes a trip to his favorite places.
DeMarcus Ware, legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback, joins Longoria in the first episode. Together they visit the Coppell Deli. They serve sandwiches with a calorie content of up to 3,500 kcal.
“The real star of the show is the food that the fans eat,” Longoria said in an interview. The actress also acted as producer-executor of the project.
The series covers three cities: Dallas-Fort Worth, Seattle and Los Angeles. Each episode introduces viewers to local specialties around NFL stadiums.
At Coppell Deli, the team sampled birria-style beef brisket and smoked quail. These dishes reflect the Texans' passion for rich food.
The filming took place amid preparations for the new football season. The theme of food is closely intertwined with the culture of fans and their rituals.
In addition to Coppell Deli, the team visited other local establishments. The menu included traditional Texas treats with regional twists.
