Strasbourg overthrows Lens and signs its first victory in Ligue 1

Strasbourg scored its first victory of the season in Ligue 1 by dominating Lens 2-1 on Sunday at Meinau, thanks to a double from the young Gessime Yassine, aged 20.

The Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace thus responded perfectly to the slap received in Marseille during the first day (0-4), by stopping the momentum of the Sang et Or, who remained on two successes in all competitions.

The first minutes, however, favored the visitors, who opened the scoring thanks to a goal from their striker, before Strasbourg reacted with vigor.

The two teams will return to the championship next weekend, with a perilous trip for Strasbourg to Lyon, while Lens will welcome Reims to Bollaert.
