In a context of renewal of railway infrastructure in Europe, Trenitalia, the main Italian railway operator, is intensifying its initiatives to improve the quality of its services. Recently, the company opened the doors to its Brancaccio locomotive depot, a strategic facility located in Sicily. This transparency approach aims to demonstrate its commitment to maintenance and safety, crucial aspects to guarantee the reliability of the daily journeys of thousands of passengers.
At the same time, Trenitalia announced the delivery of its 60th Rock train for the Lazio region, marking a significant step in the renewal of its regional fleet. The 2018-2032 service contract, which guides these investments, provides for the complete replacement of old trains with modern equipment. In addition to the new trains, the operator is restyling existing models, such as the E464 and the Vivalto compositions.
