According to Minister Berto Dorcé, the Government Commissioner at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince was placed on leave for serious administrative misconduct, under article 188, paragraph 4, of the decree of May 17, 2005 relating to the public service.
Me Berto Dorcé stressed that Commissioner Jacques Lafontant is dismissed under the orders of Prime Minister Ariel following a new complaint against him for acts of corruption, embezzlement and abuse of authority.
