This Tuesday, December 14, 2021, during an operation carried out in Cazeau, the DCPJ, through the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), after several days of surveillance, proceeded to arrest the powerful gang leader of Terre Noire (commune of Cité Soleil), namely Cathel Jones, an ally of G9, as well as his right-hand man Mahotiere Angelo.
These two (02) armed and dangerous bandits are the subject of serious accusations including the assassination last June of Inspector Miradel Adolphe, then responsible for the police station in Drouillard in the Municipality of Cité Soleil.
During this operation, a PA 15 assault rifle of 5.56 caliber, SDC 087119 series, two (02) loaded magazines, a white NISSAN Xterra vehicle, registered AA-15840, four (04) telephones, were recovered in their possession. Currently, they are in custody at the DCPJ for their alleged involvement in several cases of kidnapping and assassination.
