Haitian Prime Minister Dr. Ariel Henry preaches in favor of a union between all Haitians
On the occasion of the 264th commemoration of the birth of the founding father of the Haitian Nation, Emperor Jacques 1st, on Tuesday September 20, 2022, the head of the prime minister, Dr. Ariel Henry, launches an appeal for calm and serenity among compatriots.
The Haitian Prime Minister on his Tweet account, “I bow to the prowess of Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines, an immortal hero who changed the course of the history of the black race”.

He continues his tweet to praise the bravery of the father of the independence of the first black republic, Haiti. “Intrepid soldier, imperturbable Head of State, fine strategist, we will always remember this genius, imbued with the ideals of freedom, fraternity and grandeur, who transformed a colony populated by slaves into the first independent black Republic in the world”.
Furthermore, in another publication on his Twitter account the Prime Minister of Haiti once again launched a call for serenity and also reconciliation based on the Haitian currency. “While brandishing our motto “Unity is strength”, I take advantage of this day to launch a solemn appeal for calm and reconciliation in our nation, today divided. Let us put aside our differences so that together, hand in hand, we can change our destiny,” we can read in a third tweet from the Prime Minister’s tenant.
