The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin announced that he had signed a partial mobilization decree to fulfill the objectives of his war on Ukrainian soil; he assures that the objectives have not changed. A measure that Westerners describe as “a Sign of Russia’s Weakness”.
In a televised address this Wednesday, September 21, President Vladimir Putin announced a “partial mobilization” of Russians of fighting age, paving the way for a major escalation in the conflict in Ukraine.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu clarified that the 300,000 reservists affected by the mobilization order represent barely “1.1% of mobilizable resources”.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he “does not believe” in Moscow's use of nuclear weapons in the war in Ukraine, after Vladimir Putin made the threat in his speech.
French President Emmanuel Macron demanded the international community “put maximum pressure” on the Russian president, who said he was ready to use “all the means” in his arsenal against the West.
American President Joe Biden, for his part, denounced, from the podium of the United Nations General Assembly, Vladimir Putin's “irresponsible” threats on a possible use of nuclear weapons and accused Moscow of violating the fundamental principles of the UN Charter.
