The Head of the Prime Minister, Dr. Ariel Henry, rigorously condemned the desecration and defilement of the monument of the first Haitian head of state, Jean-Jacques Dessalines. According to him, these acts constitute a serious attack on the dignity of the Haitian people and their republican values.
The Prime Minister deplores This Wednesday, September 21, 2022, the desecration of the statue of the founding father of the first black republic “Attacks the monument symbolizing this visionary, this tutelary figure, this icon, this emancipator of the black race, constitutes a serious attack on the dignity of the Haitian people and their republican values”
On the other hand, he greeted the compatriots who laid flowers at the foot of the monument of the father of the nation.

At the same time, Prime Minister Ariel Henry invites all Haitians to inspire the work of the Emperor, to follow his promise of a united Haiti.
